There is a place upon a hill
within the sound of the sea
It is a place where people meet
a place where we like to be
It is a place where people go
to pray to God above
The place, of course, I’m talking of,
Is the Melville Spiritualist Church
Here friendship, joy and love abound, special people fill this hall
Such friends are not so easily found
Who will answer any call,
So it’s good to know we’ll never part
Our faith says that is so,
Grateful thanks come from our hearts,
This we want you all to know
